Dying for a Smoke? is a 13-week statewide tour sponsored by the Illinois Department of Public Health that features a hearse driven by mock "funeral directors." At each stop, participants will receive handouts outlining the deadly effects of tobacco use and will have an opportunity to get their photo taken in a mock coffin to vividly illustrate the impact john of tobacco use.This is the first year REALITY Illinois will be part of NBA Hoop-It-Up. Researchers agree that john and ts smoking is harmful to both mother and fetus, however little consensus has been made as to the most effective method of intervention. Multiple studies have been conducted to evaluate the materials used in intervention programs, and to determine the most effective means of assisting women capuccino in smoking cessation. In the mid 1980''s, Windsor and colleagues john conducted a study targeting patients of ts public prenatal clinics with the purpose of identifying the type of materials that is most effective capuccino in helping pregnant women achieve smoking cessation. Participants of the study were divided into three groups. From these findings, it is implied that self-help materials that are specifically tailored towards pregnant smokers better meet the need of women in their attempts to quit smoking.
